i was a premature baby I almost died and had to get sent to a big hospital specailizing in children and my parents first saw me in the plastic box they were terrified about me possibly dying. I am hard of hearing due to this fact but looking at me now you would never know that I was sick the day I came home was the day of a new beginning for my whole family I just could not imagine myself not living and how diffrent my family would've been like.

This song came out just before i had my baby at 27 weeks. She was very ill and i used to listen to this song all the time. But as the song says looking at her now you would never know. A fantastic song that meant and still means a lot to me.

My daughter is 2 weeks old and hasn't come home from hospital yet. She has wires going in, she has wires coming out of her skin. Theres blood, there are tears, plastic boxes, bleeping machines and there's hope.
FANTASTIC SONG -

I really love this song but it brings tears to my eyes. It has a really meaningful story behind it and I love the melody.
This song really moves me as my stepdad died during an epileptic fit and I still cannot get to terms with it. I still can't believe it happened as I was in the car sitting behind him when he jumped from the sliding door.

Thank you for all those who have commented on the meaning of this song. I would like to thank you for supporting the group because without the fans none of their success would mean anything. However I would like to clear up some confusion about the meaning of the song. The song is about the hospitalization of a family member and the pain that one of the family member's feels. The "dry blood" does not mean that they were a cutter for all those who were wondering. And furthermore it is not about a baby that was premature or a baby at all for that matter. The song was really personal to joel Pott's(frontman) based around his newborn daughter being critically ill in hospital.
