I am hard of hearing due to this fact but looking at me now you would never know that I was sick the day I came home was the day of a new beginning for my whole family I just could not imagine myself not living and how diffrent my family would've been like. The song is about the hospitalization of a family member and the pain that one of the family member's feels. The "dry blood" does not mean that they were a cutter for all those who were wondering. And furthermore it is not about a baby that was premature or a baby at all for that matter.
