Their music is a stunning mix of harmonics, screaming female vocals (a new idea, though in this case highly succesful), beatiful guitar solo's and the best percussion work (rythm and drums) I've encountered in ages. While, unfortunately, some metal bands tend to release albums where all the tracks sound vaguely the same, Arch Enemy excells in creating albums where no two tracks sound alike. Every song has it's own flavour and texture, offering a wide variety to suit any taste, though this band should particularly appeal to fans of bands such as In Flames and Children Of Bodom. Best tracks: My Apocalypse (Doomsday Machine), Nemesis (Doomsday Machine), We Will Rise (Anthems Of Rebellion), Enemy Within (Wages Of Sin) and Behind The Smile (Wages Of Sin).
