Review about Stranger On The Shore ------Performed by Andy Williams | 09/08/2007 11:00:00 AM Stranger On the Shore This song originally the theme tune for a U.K. Children's Hour serialized TV drama titled, "Stranger On The Shore". The tale of a young French girl come to England and and live with a host British family. Slim Whitman also recorded a vocal version. Slim's rendition and unique voice captures the homesickness sentimentality portrayed by the young French girl. Each time I listen to Slim's lyrical version, my memory is refreshed.
