But what's really funny is how people don't seem to see the big picture. "omg. It reminds me of the love of my life because they have green eyes, too!" It reminds ME of the love of my life because they're not at all what I thought I was looking for. I thought I wanted a certain hair color, eye color, height, everything... but it turned out that someone that didn't fit that description was more perfect for me than anyone that did fit my "dream" person. And that's the whole point to the song. To find someone who doesn't fit your ideal lover only to realize they're more perfect than what you could have set up in your fantasies.
