religion has nothing to do with it | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/25/09

if you would just listen and understand what its trying to say its talking about a relationship between a male and female and the female cheats on him... and even deeper it was just on a whim like the first verse so simply puts so the relationship was over before it eve began...good song good band thats good live i hope to see them play this song live

this song is totally christian. it talks about how he fell for one of the tricks that the devil plays on guys...... that's cicks. thats right chicks. that "littlest sin" was lust it. seems small but in the end its a really huge issue that most guys have. i know this because i stuggle with it sometimes too.

what it means | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/3/09

context, right?

this is about going into something with total awareness that it's wrong, yet total ignorance to that fact. it's about knowing that it's over -it's finished - before it can ever be pleasurable beyond the pain it will cause.

i read the lyrics and hear this song and think... dang - hasn't everyone been there?

This song can be interpreted different ways.
Ok Anberlin isnt a "Christian Band" They have Christians in the band but they prefer to not have the label Christian-
That being said-many of they lyrics work different ways.
You should appreciate that they make music that can be applied to everyday life and it doesnt matter if you are a Christian or not. Let the words apply to you, the way you want them to.

jeez, get a life. | Reviewer: geoff | 2/28/09

okay, this is just an awesome song, completely amazing. The fact that you guys are fighting over what it means degrades the song, simply put. So just listen to the song, feel what you feel, and let others feel what they feel. I find that's the problem with religion. everyone's trying to convince everyone else that their religion is better. WHO GIVES A S***? If you're confident in your religion, you shouldn't have to convince others that it's the best thing in the world. just be content with it, and live your life. and listen to anberlin.

Whateverrr | Reviewer: AmandaLyn | 2/27/09

When i listen to this song i think that it's about cheating, lying, and that shiza. Just because it MENTIONS sin and crap doesn't mean it's RELIGIOUS.. i mean seriously. Sure, you have your opinion and I have mine.. but i doubt its meant as a christian song...

Its a christian song? | Reviewer: Brad | 2/26/09

Everyone's saying this is a christian song... but I don't see it. I agree with anonymous guy from 1/19/09. Its about an ex or something. Sure it mentions the devil. yeah it mentions sin. Context people. Learn it. I'm not saying they aren't a christian band, I just don't think this is a major christian song or anything. I'm christian, I love christian music, red, p.o.d, all that good stuff. This isn't christian.

MY VIEW [: | Reviewer: Morgan Ashlee | 2/25/09

I have to say that even though there a Christian band that doesn't make anything wrong with their music. If they wanna sing about their beliefs whats so wrong with that.? There not forcing there religion on anyone, or anything there simply expressing how they feel through the freedom of music. An if your judging them on that it makes you a hypocrite an you need to stop listening to music. Because every artist expresses there feelings through the music that was created. Lil' Wayne for instance does drugs everyone knows that, an he expresses how drugs make him feel in most of his songs. But not all of Anberlin's songs are based on religion, so if you don't like it STFU, keep yours opions to yourself, an don't listen to them anymore.

fuck you guys | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/11/09

religion was the building blocks of america. we came here for freedom of religion. why hate on christian bands? they are doing whats good for them. great hardcore bands like symphony in peril and my children my bride are christian. even dragonforce is a christian band. be rational and quit hating on great bands like anberlin.

UH.. k.. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/5/09

just because a band/artist/group labels themselves as being christian does not make them missionaries trying to convert anyone they possibly can. i don't personally care for my religion all that much, and don't see this song as forcing christianity on me. i like the song and the message i hear when it plays is. cheating is stupid. and if you're girlfriend is a whore, dump that bitch. BTW. this song is fairly awesome. message or not it just sounds catchy and cool.
