Even though I don't have a child of my own, I couldn't imagine how awestruck Mary must have felt as she contemplated the role God had chosen for her. This song is an expression of what might have been some of her most vulnerable and private thoughts. This song is also a prayer, a prayer for all of us. It's a cry for mercy and a cry for God's Holy Spirit, the breath of heaven, to be forever near. Thanks to Erin for submitting the review.
