Not that there aren't enough songs about the subject, but this is not lying. In such a situation you lost hope completely and no Happy End is in sight, neither do you even consider it. Most songs say something like "It's all dark, but I have hope, I will raise and come back stronger!" but sometimes it's really not that. Life can go on (though not in all times) in such situations, but not because everything will be back to normal, but you get used to it...no hope, just tolerance...that's all! Maybe the actual "Moral" of the song could be "This 'wound' won't heal, never! I will never come over it...still, here I am" No being happy or just being alright; only being there...
