an ex-boyfriend of mine loves all time low and this is one of the songs that he told me to listen to after we broke and up and i never knew why. i always said he was "music" and im "books" b/c he quotes songs and i quote books so..obviouslly. but i just realized the meaning of this song and just wow. im so happy i looked it up. thank you Kait for straight up saying what the song meant. =]

Ok so, when i first listened to the song my friend told me to and it was the acoustic version... and just let me say that the aoustic version is waaaaaaaaaaaay better than the regular virsion. the acoustic version just seems like it has more feeling in it for a song like that =}

When my friend told me to listen to this song, she said that it was AMAZING and pratically kicked me in the butt to listen to it. I didn't think it would be that good and figured that I would like the original a lot more, but I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. This song was great to start out with, but the acoustic just improved on an already great song.

I love this song. I feel like I'm Jasey Rae becuase a guy did to me what Alez did to her. So I listen to this song and it makes me feel better. It's amazing and sweet, it's like he's really sorry. I can't get enough of this song! <3

I've got to say; I've been listening to All Time Low for a lot of years. Back when they were in High School.
And they never really cease to amaze me. This song especially.
The song is about a girl, obviously, named Jasey that he met and I'm fairly certain they dated. She's from my hometown, and I actually know her.
Basically, this song was meant as an apology to Jasey from Alex because he hurt her and didn't mean to. It's just really sweet.

And I only learnt it today. My friend taught it me on the guitar. I love being able to play such an amazing song by a truly amazing artist. I love their songs cause of the meaning they can carry to people.

oh my god. - this is all i can say.
i knew i loved ATL anyway but i can really relate to this song, it's completely what i'm going through. it makes me cry - in a good way. :)
This song actually blew my mind, the acoustic version is insanly good. I have seen ATL loads and I really can't wait to see them again.
I hope they keep up with the AWESOME sound.

yeah, they started in high school.
alex and jack started the band and then they recruited rian from their school.
jack knew zack, and he introduced him to them.
so alex to lead, jack took 2nd, zack took bass, and rian got drums:)
they started in senior year, got signed, went on tour, and didn't go to college.
they have come such a long way from alex having long/bushy/brown hair and the four of them sharing a dream to the guys they are today.
i really do love those boys:)

this song is about a girl he met in pennsylvania on tour.
maybe he dated her in high school but i'm pretty sure its just because he acted dickish to her when he never meant to. he still sees her when he goes up there.

this song, i like it alot. it really comes from the heart but it really easy to play on guitar, come one, a little more skill, yeah? i was really dissapointed. i dont think this is as good as all time low can get. honestly, i preffer n-dubz.

Jasey Rae Acoustic by All time low is one of the best songs i've ever heard. I'm really not even that much into them, but this song makes me respect them so much more. I listen to it at least once a day, know all the lyrics, and still aren't even close to sick of it. For anyone who hasn't listened to it, go do it now. (: Also, make sure not to listen to the original version. Cause it sucks. Lol.- Paigeee

i love this song so much!!!!! you guys are so amazing!! i spent so long listening to this song and reading the lyrics so i could memorize the song! i love it so much! i really do think that you guys did an awesome job on the song and the lyrics! but my favorite verion of the song is the acoustic but the song is still awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Thats really all I can say.
You can definatly heat the pain in his voice when he sings 'I never told a lie' and then on.
I've never had an experience like that, but somehow I can relate.
I don't know.
Its weird.
But completely amazing.

Jasey is actually a real girl that he knows. I talked to him at his show tonight. It's not about a one night stand, it was a girl he was dating in highschool and he ended up hurting her when he didn't mean too.

I didn't know that that was the reason he made this song.
& I didn't know about ATL until I heard their song "Dear Maria, Count Me In".
But then I heard their song "The Girl's A Straight-Up Hustler", then I wanted to listen to more of their songs..
I read the comments on Youtube for the music video to the song "The Girl's A Straight-Up Hustler". Everybody was talking about how all the old fans were being pushed to the back, and how they used to be their favorite 'back pocket band', what ever that means. & How they knew they would make it this big, and that they've come very far.. So I'm guessing that they used to be one of those bands that started out at their high school...?
Does anyone know?
