Don't Follow | Reviewer: Jedi | 7/27/09

My little brother died 3 years ago. OD'ed on heroin 23 years old. He was a great guy and i miss him. Singing this song makes me think of him and what he must have felt like, hiding his habit from me. It doesnt mean that this song is about heroin though..It could mean a lot of things and thats one of the reasons why it's so special.

"I love this song. Layne's mother said this was a song he wrote to share his pain of heroin with the rest of the world...to tell people not to follow cause its a terrible way to live. R.I.P."

Yea, except that Jerry Cantrell wrote this song, not Layne. Shows what you know.

real song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/12/09

this song is among the greatest ever written. as a amateur musician and songwriter i wish i could write something half as inspirational and universal as this. anyone can listen to this song and here the longing and sadness. a truly great musician and a truly amazing song

a capella | Reviewer: anonymoose | 5/20/08

i was thinking about singing this on american idol, (not one of those shitty impersonator's, a decent one)but i dont think i could sing it a Capella, i think i would have to bring a guitar in and play it while singing or something.

so sad | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/27/07

I love this song. Layne's mother said this was a song he wrote to share his pain of heroin with the rest of the world...to tell people not to follow cause its a terrible way to live. R.I.P.

nothing like this anymore | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/5/07

Everything these days is so shallow.Sometimes I think Layne is in the same category of talent as John Lennon and Jimi Hendrix.God,I miss the grunge days!
