Macbeth | Reviewer: Nicole | 5/11/09
This is a great song to listen to when reading Macbeth. They captured the awesomeness of Macbeth and managed to make a really cool song. The knife scene (And this knife! This knife!) and Macbeth's 'Tomorrow' soliloquy are my favorite parts from the play which makes this song even more awesome.
I think this cause is lost (Lady Macbeth starts feeling guilty)
I wish that I could sleep (Macbeth hath murdered sleep)
It's about Macbeth | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/24/09
If you read the story, Macbeth it all connects. I'd go into a deep explanation but yeah. I read a while ago that they wrote this song about Shakesphere's play. I'm reading though the play and this songs makes so much more sense now.

What a great song. I fell in love with this shit.
its basically someone (a narrator) who is trying to tell someone else that this world is bad and is corrupted but that someone else sees the good, until the knife part comes in. basically, its just that the narrator is trygn to tell the person that we are all controlled by the government and its laws, even the Ten Commandments, and every other rule without anarchy. the narrator is also saying that anarchy is also alive in the world where people lives burn in flames and nothing is worth it.
great fabulous song.
good

GO CANADA! | Reviewer: natasha | 9/16/07
This is one of my favourite Alexisonfire songs, it's simply amazing! The emotional lyrics coming from Dallas' mouth and the perfect amount of screaming coming from George, makes me shiver! I'm proud that this band, Alexisonfire, is from Ontario, Canada!

he screams at just the right moments and it's not heavy screaming, but just right for the song.
