Have you heard "Dancing Through Sunday." A song that's really awesome is "Death Of Seasons" for all of its beauty. I've got their albums "Decemberunderground," and "Sing The Sorrow" but can't find their older ones like "Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes." Anyway, Davey Havoc can sing but he needs to improve his vocals and his screaming. Nothing personal. They are quite simply the definition of good music. I FINALLY saw them in concert after 6 years of following them, and the show was amazing. The energy, enthusiasm, and connection with the audience was the best I've seen all year (and I've seen some great bands this year: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, MCR, Blue October, Disturbed...ect). Davey's and Jade's sXe lifestyles amaze me, as i can't even fathom how they do it. At the show i went to, the fan's were great. I met some great people through AFI's fansite and this concert. Davey even pointed out after the second song that "usually the ear plugs block out most of the fan's singing, but ya'll are so fucking loud i can't hear myself sing". I also met the guys. I always have a fear of my favorite band's being extremely arrogant, however they were exactly what I like to see in band's. They were cool, not to a point of being cocky, but relaxed, like they had their shit together. They were funny and the experience was more than i can put into words. Now, let me reiterate in detail why they are so amazing. They are inspiring and many people can relate to the lyrics in one way or another. It's simply just incredible the passion they put into their music and the connection they have with each other. Their music is out of the mainstream, and the uniqueness in itself is risky, let alone almost stupid with all of the narrow-minded people today. But they took that risk, and are now completely and utterly worshipped by their fans, including me. Now, I would get their older CD's such as Shut Your Mouth And Open Your Eyes and Very Proud Of Ya if you like punk rock. I would get some of their newer CD's like Sing the Sorrow and Decemberunderground if you like the more experimental rock. But I would get their entire collection of Cd's if you like good music. He's gorgeous and Greek (I think) and has long dark hair and the most beautiful black eyes. A.F.I.'s greatest album has got to definitely be "Sing the Sorrow."
