Simply Amal like amazing! | Reviewer: Rkirb | 11/8/09
I love AFI. they are so amazing! Every single word in each song seems to fit there so perfectly! I especially love this song because I as well feel sometimes that the people who suround you don't care about you or don't notice you. I thank AFI fo getting me through a lot of hard times in my life!
Beautiful | Reviewer: Brandi | 11/6/09
This song is purely beautiful, haunting, and enchanting. And yes if AFI was a painting is would be a true masterpiece. With Davey's amazing voice, beautiful instrumentals, and how it rocks out at the end is truely amazing. This song has a special place in my heart.

For the kid who asked about the correlation between morning star and lucifer, yeah, that's something I've thought about too, the chorus says it all man. also something to think about, Morning Star is also a name for Jesus.
for the kid who said AFi sold out after The Art of Drowning... kiss my ass. They didnt sell out, they've been experimenting with different sounds. Just because a band changes music styles doesn't mean they are selling out. so shut your fucking mouth before you open it next time and say something else retarded.
first love. | Reviewer: Anonymoose | 9/14/09
When I was about 12, I got into this band by my first love. This song especially holds such a deep place in my heart, despite their image now. Listening to it in just the right mood still brings tears to my eyes.
By the way, has anyone else wondered what the correlation between the lyrics and the title are? All I know is that "Morningstar" is another name for Lucifer.
Am I the star beneath the stairs? | Reviewer: Lexie | 2/28/09
"Am I the star beneath the stairs?" quotes Davey Havok in this song. No, Davey, you are not. You let your dark light shine through in this masterpiece of music. "Morningstar" is either a sketch, or watercolored painting, or maybe perhaps a simple dark picture on the back of your science notebook, illustrating dark times and suicide. It is a beautiful song with haunting vocals, and enchanting guitar, bass and drums. As "Mikayla Renee" said, "words cannot desribe the beauty of this song"

true art | Reviewer: jasmine | 2/22/09
If AFI was a painting, it truely would be divine. Their music always paints beautiful and abstract images into my mind. I also love how there's a bonus song around the last minute of this song as well.
love it | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/21/08
this song is my absolute favorite ever...it was the first song that i ever heard by them and when i listen to it, it takes me back to happier and less complicated time. i love afi above all other bands, and i think that the fact that they try different types of music...which is NOT selling out...is very admirable because it shows how diverse they are.
Hahaha | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/18/08
This is a good song....However, AFI has gone completely down hill after the album Art Of Drowning.....definatly one of the last good songs by them before they sold out
enchanting | Reviewer: alyssa | 12/11/07
although only at the young age of 12, i am well educated in what is real music. the first time i heard davey sing i fell in love. i am now a die hard fan of afi and worship them. haha well this song-and every song, of afi are truly amazing. no words can describe them. no words are worthy enough.
Amazing... | Reviewer: Sunni | 11/3/07
I love this song... it basically sums up my life and this was the song that was playing during my first kiss back in 2004. it means alot to me... and it's helped me out of hard times. Haunting, beautiful, typical Davey Havok (amazing)
