I think this song is one of the last remaining AFI songs that stayed true to their goth/punk style before the band began their journey across the barrier of underground and pop. The band kind of downplays Hunter's bass skills on AFI's newer CD's. Adam C. on drums for the band. Their styles match up very well. Theres a huge painting of "the girl on the wall" thats where he got the line from. and the over head balcony in supposed to be haunted = "the ghosts appeared on the stage". I love it there, its almost like a second home and i love all the shows played there. I say, if you love AFI and are ever in Petaluma make sure to stop by for either a lobby show or the real stage, its awesome both ways.
