Some where on the internet you can find the original message from when you called the certain number thing and you can hear the message from when julien killed charlotte. My friend also once told me that you can somehow here "julien killed charlotte" in then i'll be home. and on another note, AFI has never played affliction Live...i dont know what that means... Ending | Reviewer: Nathy | 3/10/09 To me, the ending part has something of a great katastrophe. like they are searching for people (like 9/11, or Hurricane Katrina buut not THAT dramatically) and they can't find them but in a case - at laest to me - it mixes up with memorys, like a hide and seek game with dad and an argument with someone, that happended before. When I read this page, I was intrigued by the reference to the Clandestine/Charlotte/Five Flowers or whatever it is called Mystery. I don't know if it was my totally inept searching or not, but I can find many references to this and no explanation of what is was. I think it happened several years ago, but I can't figure any further than that. "you wont even do that. so i may help them out. and then ill be back home" related to the song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/27/08 if anyone who reads this is familiar with the Clandestine/Charlotte Nothing mystery, listen to affliction at about 2:43-2:44. you'll hear a scream. it is probably supposed to be the scream Julian made before Charlotte killed him. also, at the beginning of Then I'll be Home (song after affliction), you hear someone say "Julian". I thought this was all interesting, especially because in summer shudder you can hear a number being dialed. the numbers being dialed, when used with a certain code, end up spelling out "affliction". it's all tied together. Originally, Affliction was 3:37 long, and it then switched to The Missing Frame (and Then I'll Be Home was track 13). Hope this helps.
