True power | Reviewer: Ariel | 4/22/09
This girl is not afraid of saying what she feels, even if you homophopic dumb asses cant get that that out of this. Just listen to her! She is a very powerful woman! more people need to be like her and not let low life people tell them they are wrong.
This is one of the most powerful songs of the 90s' | Reviewer: Ryan | 4/16/09
You guys think that just cuz Linda Perry doesn't flat out tell you what she's singing about, then it's not empowering or it's not revolutionary. Has it ever occured to ANY of you that music is free to interpretation? If someone hears it and it they feel it's empowering to women and/or same-sex marriage, then they're allowed to think that. And Linda Perry has written groundbreaking hits for Christina Aguilera, Pink, Gwen Stefani, and Alicia Keys. Not bad for a "pseudo coffee shop hippie drizzle" now is it?
REALIZATION OF THE WEAK | Reviewer: Stephanie | 12/13/08
This song is one of the best songs to sing at a karaoke bar and is bound to get people hyped up and jumping off of their seats. For those who put down this song I feel sorry for you because you have no sense in music and what music represents. So for Scott and Lemmy, I suggest that you GET UP TO WHAT'S UP!
fluff and nothing more | Reviewer: Scott | 9/3/08
"Empowering to women everywhere"??? WTF?
EXACTLY where in this song to find a reference to lesbian marriage? what a pathetic attempt at promoting your own political/social agenda, and co-opting what was never a very good song into the bargain.
I hope your "revolution" stays on peoples minds longer than the song did,lol
revloution | Reviewer: proud listener | 7/25/08
I find this song empowering to women everywhere. It makes us feel like we should never give up hope and hope for the revolution. If men and women can be together why not to women who love each other. Why the hell not
Big stinking pile of crap.... | Reviewer: Lemmy | 9/11/07
The single worst "song" of the 90's- I've got a nose ring, dreadlocks, and tattoos- am I trendy enough?! Absolute shite and as bad as any pseudo coffee shop hippie drizzle ever recorded.
