Johnny Chicago is a pretentious dick. | Reviewer: iloveALLmusic | 8/24/07

I'd like to reply to the following post by "Johnny Chicago": actually, you know what Johnny... It's not worth the miniscule effort of copy/pasting that pretentious (and poorly spelt) piece of dung you're attempting to pass of as a review, not even in order to heap upon it the derision it deserves. Go back to your bitter, twisted little existence, listen to your underground music and never trouble us decent folk again. Oh, and Johnny? I listen to a whole shitload of "generic" music, and I still don't fit in to the "pack of sheep shivering in the cold". Explain that... and a group of sheep is a flock or herd, dickweed. Hell if you didn't reference Nirvana and Alanis in that drivel, you wouldn't even deserve to live. You Johnny Chicago, are a fucking oxygen thief, and I bid you good day. And Johnny? stop trying to be all alternative and shit, cause by trying, you're failing. NOW SOD OFF!!!

Artrea | Reviewer: Henke | 8/23/07

AMAZING!!! | Reviewer: Chandelle | 8/23/07

I don't usually like emo songs but this is by far my favourite song at the moment! Not only is Jared gogeous but he has an amazing voice! LOVE IT!!!

A brilliant song | Reviewer: Mark | 8/23/07

Johnny Chicago - Seriously, is your life consistant of so little that you have to come on to random lyric websites and complain about the song?? If you don't like the song - dont listen to it, dont buy it, dont look at the lyrics. Yes! It's really that simple! This song fits into the twenty-first century for one small reason - it is the twenty-first century. 70's music belongs in 70's venues and radio stations. Im not one to critisise the music. Every artist and listener has different tastes. EVANESCENCE fans like EVANESCENCE for example. Seriously friend, get a life. This song is played by very tallented artists - I'd love to see you match it.

-Mark.

A Breath of Fresh Air | Reviewer: Luwelyn | 8/17/07

Not a particularly huge fan of emo/screamo music myself but this song tends to evoke an emotion within me that can only be validated by Jared's voice. There are those who would say that real music died in the 80's(Jonny) but even a generic genre can have a fresh twist. I dont like emo but this band is good. Consider also that other Actor turned singer bands are bland and are of no use to anyone(Juliet and the Licks) 30 STM breaks those steriotypes with catchy hooks a la 50 Cent and well planned guitar riffs. I love this song.

Good for the trendy coffee shops and yuppie bars... | Reviewer: Johnny Chicago | 8/7/07

...because this is all our current state of music-listening humanity can handle.

Real music died in the 70s, replaced by mostly easily disposable pop crap that tickles your brain, but does nothing else for you, kinda like a good pee.

The occasional band or artist breaks out (Nirvana, Alanis Morrisette, N'Shell Modicello) then gets swallowed up in the shit of the Britneys, Christinas, Evervesences (however it's spelled) and sadly, this band, led by THE MOST PRETENSIOUS lead singer/B actor on the face of the earth since Bruce Willis' first solo album or the asshole of all assholes in the last 20 years, Scott Stapp from Creed.

You are ashamed to like new experimental forms of music that you can play 25 years from now and it will still sound fresh because you might be considered not "part of the pack," so you play crap like this to be "cool" or "down" or whatever word you use to be part of your particular pack of sheep shivering in the cold together.

Please understand, this song is great for trendy coffee houses and yuppie bars filled with kids who wear their frayed-on-purpose baseball caps on backwards and girls who wear shirts that show off too much of their beer bellies, because it reaches EXACTLY what this band wants - a demographic of mostly female (and maybe male) tweeners and drunked-up twenty-somethings who long for the "old days" of early 90's alternative.

This is so sad, I refuse to comment any further or I'll have to vomit into the garbage can - again.

(I'm also sorry, because it's 5pm here in Chicago and I've been up since midnight, so it's time to go to bed.

Good luck with that whole idea of what you think "good music" thing may be...

cause this sucks.

"The Kill" is an amazing song!!!! | Reviewer: Julia | 8/6/07

I don't know what I've to say! It's a brilliant song:the lyrics, the guitars, the drums,Jared's voice so everything! This song is about a relationship with yourself. It's about confronting your fear and confronting with the truth about who you are!Jared Leto said that himself in an interview.Anyway, this song is perfect! 30 STM 4ever!!!
