------ performed by Rammstein

This song is clearly criticizing how hte world has been so Americanized. It's a frightening development, the music video is quite clear in its meaning.
The german version is better, though
Needs to be more clear! | Reviewer: Spike | 10/20/04
I wish this song made what it's going on about a little more clear...I mean, its understandible that they're on about how Western Civilisation is pretty much the only civilisation, but its difficult to tell whether they like this or dislike it. I suppose the line "this is not a love song" kind of says they don't but...anyway, its a great song and I hope they go on to do more songs just as good or better.
It rules! | Reviewer: Spike | 10/20/04
What a song! Only thing is that I don;t have a clue whether they support the fact that America rules us all...they don;t really make it clear. Not that I;m bothered. I've been a massive Rammstein fan for years and I don't care if "we're all living in Amerika" or not!

First learn how to read, then learn how to type correctly, then actually listen to the song.
'Amerika' is obviously about the Americanization of the world. We all live in Amerika.. Quite the OPPOSITE of a love song..

This translation is totally censored. The original version (in German)doesn't even look like this except for the chorus. Rammstein are very famous in Europe and they even appeared on the movie "XXX" with Vin Diesel. And why would someone say this is a love song, don't you know how to read? "This is not a love song".
the bride of Rammstein | Reviewer: Jessica | 10/5/04
The song 'Amerika' by band Rammstein is another catchy little tune to add to thier long list of 'hit' singles. Mostly sung in english with a couple of words still in thier native tounge of German. The band hail from Deutchland and many of thier other songs are sung in German. Most of thier songs are basicly a load of crap, not making much sense at all, but this song actually does (most of it).It sort of comes across as a 'love' song- if you can even call it that. The're not axcactly the most brilliant band out there and are not very well known. Overall i would give this song a 2/10 and thats pretty good compared to most of thier other 'master pieces' such as 'Play with me'. Well Rammstien isn't excactly my cup of tea but maby over in Germany theyre a big hit. I'm guessing it will be quite a while befoer we see these boys on top of the pops.
