Hardly. | Reviewer: Jay | 1/3/08 Given my perspective on this song, I love it, I'm an American, unlike the majority that has been OUTSIDE the United States (no Mexico and Canada don't count). We in fact, do not live in the paradise that you may think we do, we share many problems that alot of other countries have, we have many problems that other nations don't. By the by, America is the singlemost corrupt state of government in the world, with a close second to the puppet government we (Americans) set up in Iraq. (Which is also failing, anyone see the Irony in that?) Just a quote: "Some countries that do "Evil" things [Evil being a perspective WHICH in fact is dictated by America, saying something like Communist is Evil, well in a Communist eyes it isnt evil] We too do evil things, We, America, just know how to hide it." Well we certainly don't hide it very well, every decision our government wants the world to believe is played across the world on CNN, by far the largest conspiracy in newcasting ever. Events that havn't even happened or happened months before are being played as 'live footage' (Ever wonder why there isn't a date or timestamp during this 'live' broadcast?). There have been moments in Iraq that have been broadcasted on CNN that were utterly false. (How do I know, I was there, 3 times.) I do not love this country or the United States, I do not love our flag or our president even though in the past I have sworn to protect them, I do not love our sales tax, or worsening education system, I do not like paying taxes just to retain the ability to own property. Every country does that? Hardly. Hell some countries pay their citizens to LIVE THERE (Qatar for example, every Qatari citizen gets in excess of 150,000 USD annually for living in Qatar.) We have the best medical care in the world, its an arguable point, to bad we only have the worlds leading medical technology to turn a profit not to care for people. Its free in Canada, UAE (United Arab Emirates), and several other countries. Our country is pathetic. One can only hope that a country rises to power soon enough to see, that can put 'America' in check. Sadly, its unforeseeable at the present.. Hopefully it will happen before we are the cause of Armageddon. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not a religious type, but with our war making history, its only a matter of time, its a pressure plate we are all jumping on and soon enough, we'll have enough force to press it all the way down..) At least the fireworks will be nice.
