It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes to wear.
She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde hair.
And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"
And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."
[Ivan Lins solo]
I feel wonderful tonight
I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.
I feel wonderful because I see
The love light in your eyes
And the wonder of it all
Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.
And then I tell her as I turn off the lights
Darling, I say my darling, you look wonderful tonight
I say my darling you were wonderful tonight

Review about Wonderful Tonight WONDERFUL TONIGHT | Reviewer: MJ Buble (No Kidding) | 2/24/09
Just FYI for everyone wondering, Ivan Lins is singing in Portuguese. Unfortunately the only translation I've been able to get is extremely ROUGH, but try pasting the lines in on freetranslation.com, you get the general idea even though its not a completely coherent translation (you get what you pay for I guess... I did mention its FREE, right?) I have honestly never heard the Clapton version, but I will have to look it up cause I keep hearing its better & being a devout Buble-nerd, I can't believe it! Keep on Keepin on! (Yeah I still like the New Kids too, sue me!)
lovely track | Reviewer: Dan | 9/26/07
I think this makes a much better swing track than rock track - the original is Clapton.
Although my spanish? is bad they are pretty close to the original lyrics. For instance, second verse, We go to a party.
Just wondering if anyone can post the English translations to the Latin lines.
Thanks
