Welcome To Wherever You Are Lyrics - Bon Jovi & Jon Bon Jovi

Review The Song (18)

Maybe we're different, but we're still the same
We all got the blood of Eden, running through our veins
I know sometimes it's hard for you to see
You come between just who you are and who you wanna be

If you feel alone, and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning, is some beginning's end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

When everybody's in, and you're left out
And you feel your drowning, in a shadow of a doubt
Everyones a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself, not what other people say

When it seems you're lost, alone and feeling down
Remember everybody's different
Just take a look around

Be who you want to, be who you are
Everyones a hero, everyones a star

When you wanna give up, and your hearts about to break
Remember that you're perfect, God makes no mistakes

lyrics dont make sence | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/5/11

give bill gates the cd with the track welcome to wherever you are and he could have a smile on his face after hearing the line your exactly where your suppose to be. But the person living in somalia starving to death could never relate to that song, so it lyricaly doesnt make sence. What about the people dying of type 1 diabetes. Are they exactly where they suppose to be since they didnt bring the disease on themselves? Or the people living with cancer who didnt bring it on themselves? The writter of this song didnt think when he wrote it! unless he wrote it for bill gates or opera winfrey.

best song ever | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/4/10

To Whoever Thinks That The Lyrics 'Suck'... Bon Jovi Believed These Words And Jon Sing It To The World. This Song Is For People To Start Believing. You May Feel That Victims Won't Understand This, But If They Can Find It In Their Heart To Believe In This, They'd Find Peace Within And That's All That Matters... Peace Within!

Putting Hope back into a broken down Heart | Reviewer: Amy | 4/1/09

I hadn't listened to this song for quite sometime. I happened to be shuffled in my i-pod and I just sit here listening to the words and how it relates to my life right now. I've felt like giving up on a lot of things and this song just put the fact back into my head that I am where God has put me, now I've just got to deal with what has been given before me. I love this song and Bon Jovi may not be the band most of us remember back in the eighties... but WELCOME... this is where THEY are suppose to be RIGH NOW!

It's in the eye of the beholder... | Reviewer: Benjamin Koppe | 3/27/09

I want to write an answer to the guy who was concerned about the victims and the line with: you are where you're supposed to be..

I know this line is certainy hard for some people, but I think there are as many people who experience hardship and get hope from these lines.

I have not listened to my Bon Jovi CDs for a while, I was a great fan in the 90ies. Meanwhile I started studying theology and now I realized how much religion influences Bon Jovi songs... at least that's what I feel...

Good or bad is your choice, but I think the said line is such an example: If you are strong in faith and can trust God in hardship, the lines will build you up, if the hardship ruined your faith, they'll tear you down.

By that I do not say that people ony need to believe, it isn't all that easy, I just write things that come to my mind...

Great lyric | Reviewer: Francis | 7/13/08

"When you wanna give up and your heart's about to break
Remember that you're perfect; God makes no mistakes"

Those words above made me cry... and then brought an optimistic determination to me. I ain't going down, GONNA FIND A WAY!!!

URRRGGG!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/11/08

This is not a 'Jon Bon Jovi song', whoever said that. It is a 'Bon Jovi' song. As in the band, not just Jon. Just because he sings them doens't mean they're only his songs.
Anyways...I love it. Sure it's not as owerful as their some of their stuff but it has a good message and i pretty much love anything by Bon Jovi.

(I've listened to some songs on Jon's solo album..and they're not so great)

i like this song, especially the part where it goes,

"When you want to give up and your heart's about to break,
Remember that you're perfect; God makes no mistakes."

That makes me feel a little better. :)

Hope? No hope | Reviewer: Sherrie | 4/4/08

I love the music and Bon Jovi but this lyric sucks, especially the line "you're exactly where you're supposed to be". How are VICTIMS supposed to swallow that? The lyric reveals its author: someone privileged who has never known true hardship or abuse who thinks they have something to say to comfort the little people. Yuck.
