Jessica, I'm a programmer, and yet I like this lyrics. I work with computers, but I wish I would not. I like programming, but I hate computers :D

Could this mean that in a world of phone line lies, we don't even know who is our other half? (Well, you can say anything over the internet without consecvences, you can lie aything about yourself to the others, so it is easily imagineable, that one is in love with a nonexistent person made of lies...)

This seems to me to be more than just a critique of a technology-obsessed world, it's a critique of masculinity in a sense that to "be a man" and prove yourself, it is very easy to behave badly, acquire "power" (even if it's just in an MMO), and think you're a hotshot because you can pwn noobs online. You think you know everything, and then you wonder why you can't get girls when you show them no respect, on OR offline (particularly when you treat them as if they know nothing about technology).

God, how i love Sonata Arctica... there is something magical in their songs... I just cant explain it. Its just rocks ass so much. Their lyrics, their style of playing... everything. If they come to Lithuania one day, i swear, i will shit myself with joy (just kidding) =)

Sonata Arctica prove themselves excellent satirists with this bitterly comic tune about a population positively obsessed by their computers. The always-clever Finns have hit the jackpot yet again. Totally Irrelevant Note: My best friend is a computer programmer, and I tried to show him this song (either this one or Blank File, I'm not sure which) and he couldn't even understand the lyrics to know he was being insulted. Said it was too fast! :)
