I started to like them after i heard Miss Murder and always played it on Guitar Hero. After that it was history! I just youtubed AFI and kept adding to my favourite list of songs. For example when I played Clove Smoke Catharsis instead of the real song it played No Poetic Device, every song was like this. Porphyria Cutanea Tarda was actually Malleus Maleficarum and so on, I got so mad! Oh well. AFI is and will always be my Favorite band, and this is one kickass song Weathered Tome and The Last Kiss | Reviewer: Carrie | 1/4/08 when i bought my own copy of black sails in the sunset the songs Weathered Tome and The Last Kiss were mixed up. what i mean is, the lyrics for weathered tome were actually the lyrics for the last kiss, and the lyrics for the last kiss were actually the lyrics for weathered tome. oh, and it doesn't stop there!! lol when i put it on my mp3 player and windows media player it recognizes the two songs just as described above. which means it wasn't just a type-o, someone messed up while making my AFI CD!!!!!! am i the only one, or did somebody else have the same problem??? ... | Reviewer: Tanya | 10/26/07 I got into AFI during the "Sing The Sorrow" era. "This Time Imperfect" was the first song that I've ever heard by them, which made me love them. DU, I admit, is a bit lacking compared to their other albums. Not that it's not a good album or anything, it is, but I think they could've made it even awesomer. My favorite album would probably be Black Sails. Blaqk Audio's CexCells, however, was amazing as well. :) | Reviewer: Jennifer | 6/24/07 I s'pose I could be called a 'bandwagon' fan because although I had Days of the Phoenix, it was Miss Murder and Decemberunderground that got me into AFI. However, their older stuff is better in my opinion. Not saying I don't like DU or anything, I do, but I prefer Black Sails.. or ...Drowning. More people should listen to this. It really is amazing.
