Too Much of Anything Lyrics - The Who

Review The Song (2)

I think these hands have felt a lot
I don't know, what have I touched?
I think these eyes have seen a lot
I don't know, maybe they've seen too much
I think this brain has thought a lot
Searchin' trying to find a crutch
I think this heart has bled once too often
This time, it's bled a bit too much

Too much of anything is too much for me
Too much and everything gets too much for me

I can't remember before '49
But I know, that '48 was there
My ears let in what I should speak out
M-m-m-m, there's something in the air
I'm overloaded on my way
Bye, bye. You better keep in touch
I think your ears hear a whole lot of music
And like me, they've heard a bit too much

Too much of anything is too much for me
Too much and everything gets too much for me

I think these hands have felt a lot
I don't know, what have I touched?
I think these eyes have seen a lot
I don't know, maybe they've seen too much
I think this brain has thought a lot
Oh, searchin', trying to find a crutch
I think these ears hear a whole lot of music
And like me, they've heard a bit too much

Too much of anything is too much for me
Too much and everything gets too much for me

YOU are great with the WHO--love you!! | Reviewer: MAUREEN WHEAT | 8/23/2007

I would like to submit a request to use this set of lyrics in a world peace video. It's not like, "we are the world" It has to do with the REAL MEANING OF 'POWER', and the foundations of wars and tribal battles and starvation, and the excesses of 10% of the world's wealth being controlled by a handful of MATERIALIST, POWER HUNGRY "GOTTA-HAVES" Remember the 10% is a world wide group: not just america; in my opinion, we are close to elling the american soul, created under ONE GOD--by whatever name people call God. the Rolling Stones wrote, "i hope you guess my name", and every word is true, and continues. the WHO lyrics to "TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING" , provided accurately after 10 comparison listenings....makes our world a community based on INDIVIDUAL DECISIONS--not cumulative gregarian, herd mentality out of Hollywood, and backed by the world's 10% of INDIVIDUAL COMSUMPTIONISTS. THIS WEBSITE IS GOING ON MY AOL LINK TO FAVORITES!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I DO HAVE THE CD OF LIVE WHO FROM WAY BACK WHEN. THIS SET OF LYRICS HIT ME LIKE A TON OF GRACE IN THE FORM OF MUD AND CLAY BRICKS. LOVE, MAUREEN

i submitted a GLOWING with gratitude response | Reviewer: maureenwheat@aol.com | 8/23/2007

then i got the error message....my point was the world's wealth is in the hand's of less than 10% of the population. Greed is taking it's toll, and this great translation helps prove that point. IT DOES NOT TAKE A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD....SO PERSONALLY IRRESPONSIBLE.

It takes cumulative persons time to do what they can to raise INDIVIDUAL CONSCIOUSNESS in each person they meet. Looked on this same site for Rolling Stones 'bargain with the devil' to PROVE inaction is as destructive as BAD actions. love, maureen THIS SITE GOES TO MY AUTO-FAVS LINKS. thanks so much for what you provide! m...
