Probably, the deepest song form the "Justice" album. It is an eerie instrumental with a bone-chilling poem cited by Hetfield. The main message is that the world is losing its beauty, due to people lying to others and themselves. The person can't cope with it, and hopes that in death they would finally be free of this lie.

this review is to joe. what you are saying is that you are only a true fan if you listen to everything the band puts out no matter how bad it sounds. Whether you want to admit it or not, metallica did sellout. Not because they cut their hair but because their music changed. Listen to kill em all and ride the lightning and then listen to the black album or st. anger. I love metallica, but once cliff died, they just lost their touch.

Ok if your one of these people stating metallica sucks and that they sold out and this an that than you are not a true fan. A true fan stays with his band till the end. He respects change, and the new direction that the band went in. So they cut their fucking hair, so do i and so does everybody else in the world. We all go through phases. Well, talking about favorite bassists from Metallica, I would say Cliff was the best, then Jason, and then Rob. Of course, Cliff is, was and will be the greatest bassist ever. But, I really miss Jason, because he had fucking great vocals. Rob is good, too, but he doesn't fit in with the other members of Metallica. That's why.
I would say, Metallica were best in 1985-1986 and 1989-1990, But the new albums isn't bad.

Rob doesn't know how to play bass,I've listened to Metallica since they started.The only real bassist is Cliff.He's the one who made all the great bass lines and the lyrics.He's the fuck not now these bassists that kids admire these days.Like Flea he has some skills but,he's not merely as good as Cliff.Jason Newsted,he's better than Rob,but Clifford Lee Burton.Since Cliff's death Metallica is not Metallica,they were good till St.Anger.Than they changed they're style,and everything.About James,he was funnier before he had a better voice,better live acts,I've seen Metallica in Zagreb of the World Magnetic tour,and back in Seatle,while they were young.It's not the same Metallica that rocked ass,as before.If you ask me the 80's Metallica is much better than 03's till today.
