But he was the first person I ever loved. And even now, after I've thrown him out, this song still reminds me of him. The line "Your voice was the soundtrack of my Summer" strikes such a chord, I met him in the summer between year 9 and year 10 [Ausralian] and "I said your eyes are the brightest of all the colours" also strikes a chord, he had the most beautiful eyes. I just wanted to say that this song is so simple, yet so beautiful. It will remind me of him every day. Our breakup was painful and messy, and this song is like someone else singing my pain.
