The End Lyrics
Artist(Band):The Beatles
Oh yeah, all right
Are you going to be in my dreams
Tonight?
And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love you make.

Review about The End
you have to consider the other 2 songs of the medley, also | Reviewer: Ed | 9/26/2008
Abbey Road is notable for having 2 "medleys" of 3 songs that are highlights of the album. "The End" is the final song of what I call "Abbey Road Medley #2".
Interesting to hear about the rotating guitar solo - my guitar partner mentioned this the other night, and when I finally figured out what he was talking about I remembered the amazingly hot guitar work, which is not so common throughout the Beatles catalog.
The final line of this song has often been a comfort to me in difficult times. It is a beautiful sentiment, and a noble goal in life.
great song | Reviewer: aletz | 7/22/2008
The latter is notable for featuring Starr's only drum solo in The Beatles catalogue. Starr hated solos and had to be persuaded to do it. It was even edited down several bars from its original recorded version. Toward the end of the song, immediately prior to "And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make" line played over piano chords, are eighteen bars or measures of guitar solo: the first two bars are played by Paul McCartney, the second two by George Harrison, and the third two by John Lennon, then the sequence repeats.
