Superstition Lyrics - Stevie Wonder

Review The Song (7)

Very superstitious, writing's on the wall,
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past.

oo When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands,
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can,
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong,
You don't wanna save me, sad is my song.

When you believe in things that you don't understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh.

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say,
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way,

Then you suffer,
Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no
shut up!

Another great version is this http: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSEw4aKulkE
jam session with Morgan Ågren, Mats Öberg & Mikael Emsing. Like the original Stevie, the swedish "Stevie" Mats Öberg (keyboard and song) is an amazing keyboard and harmonica player, and it seems like he can sing too. (But maybe he didn't rehearse the lyrics.)

Just to copy Stevie, Mats is completely blind (AND suffer from serious tinnitus).

Try literally every funk song and every song with funk influenced synthesizer or guitar.
Brick House- Commodores, Play that funky music- Wild Cherry, Mustang Sally- Wilson Pickett. And for the Saxophone, try Wham!, Michael Bolton, Kenny G and The Mighty Mighty BossTones.

The TRUTH | Reviewer: Ylisheva | 12/24/11

Is it possible Stevie Wonder knew the TRUTH years ago and discreetly shared that TRUTH through his music? Deception and misinterpretation in religion is amongst all religious beliefs. Understanding and wisdom is expressed in the lyrics, "when you believe in things that you don't understand?" Is this what we do in religion? Believe in and follow "man" not truly believe in and trust our Father Yah!!!!

I love this jazzy song | Reviewer: Eric Linberg | 4/24/11

The first time that I had ever heard this song was when I found out that I was going to play it in my school jazz band. That night, I looked on youtube for the song lyrics, and I absolutely loved it! This was my favorite song that we played. I play trombone, so my part was stolen from the trumpet part. I absolutely love this jazzy song!

Ok listen to Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer" and Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" and the Ting Ting's "Shut up and let me go" and last listen to Stevie Wonder's "Superstition". These songs all sound the same! Does anyone have any others? I know somebody who loves this sound and I want to surprise them...I'll check back! ^__^
