I recently re-discovered them, and I've come to love them the same way I love Alice In Chains--the lyrics actually speak to me. No other song by them suits me and what I'm going through better than this one. I suffer from major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder, and Running Blind is exactly the kind of song I would write if I were a little more creative. It lets me know that I'm not alone in my pain and my fear, and that I'm not the only one trying to survive in this world spending every day in agony and torture. He was trying hard to make it all the way back, but struggled with self medicating. He was a great soul and that's what will be remembered.
