Remember Me Lyrics - Lucky Dube
Review The Song (47)
Daddy where ever you are remember me
In what ever you do I love you
Daddy where ever you are remember me
In what ever you do I love you
You left for the city many years ago
Promised to come back
And take care of us
Many years have gone by now
Still no sign of you Daddy
Mother died of a heart attack
Many years ago when she heard
That you were married again
Now, I' m the only one left
In the family
sponsored linksWandering up and down
The streets of Soweto
No place to call my home
I tried to find you
Many years ago
But the women you' re married to
was no good at all
Chorus till fade

True son of Africa | Reviewer: Vally Fokabo | 3/20/14
In fact i,m from Cameroon.Since i was born,i,ve never come across a heart touching son like Remember Me of king Dube. Whenever i play this song,i feel crying and the same time reflecting especially the wickedness in the world.Lucky dube have sang everything and i believe just as one of the early musical despots of Africa,he can be compared to a king who wrote, Here lies a man whose intentions were pure but had a misfortune of seeing all his plans miscarried.Rest in Peace Brother.I love you king of Reggae.

you are the giant | Reviewer: Nfumu | 10/29/13
I am muana nfumu from UIGE-ANGOLA. I am deeply impressed with extend of expertise im composing lyrics. This man is a hero and giant of the century. His message takes my breath away. I am touched with his passion of singing. Africa has generated great men like Mandela, KHADAF, DUBE and so many others. Though LUCKY went to heaven, the cuTe for his music is still with us, especially in this song. May his soul rest in peace. WE ARE STICK TOGETHER

Remember Me | Reviewer: Goodwell Logeya | 7/6/13
Lucky Dube was more than a musician. This fallen son of Africa is a hero of all among black conscious. His music has not only transformed africans but the whole world. People dont appreciate his music for aesthetic beauty, but the prophetic touch inculcated in his lyrics. He was the best songwriter most scholars of music would want to classify as the best in its right order. Remember, me is quite relevant number to african society. Many marriages often crumble indefinately in the guise that the father went to hunt a job in town to ensure the family is fed with good bread. Watever the motive, the question of impoverished african man has led him to forget home when he begins to do well in town. My eyes are running with tears as i type this stroke of letters while i listen to this song via my headsets. Lucky, had the comtemporary message which shall remain relevant to all people of all nationalities and generations. In REMEMBER ME, Lucky has plunged an eternal sword that will prick the hearts of all of us daddies that would comtemplate to ditch our children to die helplessly out of abject poverty while we are living a highly lavished life in the cities with mecenary jezebels. Lucky, we love u, we miss u, we shall remember u-RIP.
