Some idiot! Who says Manson is an atheist. They dont know anything about antichrist. Atheist doesn't provoke other religion and wear some satanic symbol coz they are neutral no God no belief. I love and believe in Jesus, but I also think this is a really cool song about a person being there for somebody else. I don't really think this song goes against anybody's beliefs in any way, so everyone calm down hahaha

To be fair i love Marilyn Manson Everyone knows who he is okay he has a reputation for stuff like this i love this song i do kinda believe what be believes and i can also see why a lot of people don't believe in "God" the story is so unbelievable and i'm 11 the way i see it is if you can't do it now how did they do it back then. I go to a catholic School so i know they story i still don't believe it it's like believing everything you hear or see on the news and you can never trust anything and To get on thing straight Marilyn Manson does not Worship Satan. So i think all the "God" Believers should shut up The man is so well known and loved we couldn't give a living shit if we go to "Hell" for listening to his music or saying we don't believe in "God" Because if we don't believe in him then we don't believe in "Hell" Or "Heaven" We can think what we want we let you Believe In "God" And to me if There is a "God" do not think he wold of stopped war,stopped children dying or dirty water and no food Stop all the pain in the world ?! Personally like this song. Let's clear up some myths reviewed here. Song was orginally performed and made famous by Depeche Mode - not Johnny Cash or Marilyn Manson. Many people have covered it...Song was written by Martin Gore after reading the book Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presly.
