I went into labor with her with no one by my side, because we didn't know who her father was at the time: my current husband or my ex. We found out a week later that it was 99.9% that this darling little girl belonged to my husband. I didn't want my husband by my side, because I did not want him to fall in love with her so much and be crushed when she died. She died because she had the cord wrapped around her neck and she also had spinal menningitis. I could not bear taking my baby girl to the hospital every two weeks to get spinal taps and hear her scream. We buried her three days later. I try to have a memorial service every year for her on her birthday. She would be a year old already. I miss her dearly and want her to know that this is not "Our Farewell". I was hit so hard by the song that I despised it. Yet I couldn't forget it....
