Molinos De Viento Lyrics - Mago De Oz

Review The Song (20)

Si acaso tú no ves
Mas allá de tu nariz
Y no oyes a una flor reír

Si no puedes hablar
Sin tener que oír tu voz
Utilizando el corazón

Amigo Sancho escúchame,
No todo tiene aquí un porqué
Un camino lo hacen los pies

Hay un mundo por descubrir
Y una vida que arrancar
De brazos del guión final

A veces siento al despertar
Que el sueño es la realidad

Bebe, canta, sueña
Siente que el viento

Ha sido hecho para ti
Vive, escucha y habla
Usando para eso
el corazón

Siente que la lluvia
Besa tu cara
Cuando haces el amor
Grita con el alma
Grita tan alto
Que de tu vida, tú seas
Amigo el único actor

Sí acaso tu opinión
Cabe en un sí o un no
Y no sabes rectificar

Si puedes definir
el odio o el amor
Amigo que desilusión

No todo es blanco,
O negro: es gris
Todo depende del matiz,
Busca y aprende a distinguir

La luna puede calentar
Y el sol tus noches acunar
Los arboles mueren de pie.

He visto un manantial llorar
Al ver sus aguas ir al mar.

Bebe, canta, sueña
Siente que el viento
Ha sido hecho para ti
Vive, escucha y habla
Usando para eso
el corazón

Siente que la lluvia
Besa tu cara
Cuando haces el amor
Grita con el alma
Grita tan alto
Que de tu vida, tú seas
Amigo el único actor

A veces siento al despertar
Que el sueño es la realidad

Bebe, canta, sueña
Siente que el viento
Ha sido hecho para ti
Vive, escucha y habla
Usando para eso

Siente que la lluvia
Besa tu cara
Cuando haces el amor
Grita con el alma
Grita tan alto

Bebe, canta, sueña
Siente que el viento

To AFOH- I can't even start to tell you how much of a Dumbass , Idiot , moron you made your self look .dude
..............................
I love this song and all of your meanings are really interesting made me look at the song in a totally new way thanks : )

Great song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/14/10

An exelent song, Actualy you all have problems with spanish:
disappointment = decepción and desilución (decepción is the common and general form traduction for disappointment
And disillusioned = only desilución (don't go saying i have problems with spanish because i live with it since i was born, there is no language i know better than spanish)
In this AFOH may have a point if he was confused because the song goes with the second meaning of the word, But that doesn't cover the fact that he is a complete idiot that doesn't know how to recognize a good song, AFOH, no matter what you may think you obviously don't like good msic at all, maybe pure bullshit like you.
For the guy that says that everyone is wrong because it is all based on the book from cervantes, you have part of reason, but the song is deeper than that, the rest of the people's analisis is right, if you don't believe me go ask mago de oz, or at least pay attention when they are talking about their songs in the interviews, almost all of their songs have meaning, some are bullshit like AFOH said but the big part are really great songs, specially this one.

One last thing, AFOH you have such little mind, recognising metaphores, paraboles etc is piece of cake, to catch the real meaning of them is the real deal, because it can have multiple meanings, also take a look at the connections between paragraphs, you will notice a lot more about this song meaning and it's greatness, if even with that you still think the same, well, i feel sorry for you dude, music is evidently not for you, i wonder how many times you got insulted like this because of your stupid comments because evidently you don't know a bit about music...

Come ON people... | Reviewer: Gabriel | 7/13/10

Are you forgeting the TRUE purpose of the song. It's not just part of Don Quijote, it's about Romaticism. It's about being free, about feeling emotions, not just having them. It's about that which we all want: Freedom from other peoples eyes. To be yourself without judgement. THAT'S what this song is about. Can't you just undestand that and shut up. And if you don't like the song, DON'T COMMENT, IT HAS NO USE HERE. HELL I don't like the vidoe at ALL, do you see mee complainting? Instead of just reading the lyrics and analysing them, why can't we just feel what they mean?

the words were smoke | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/18/10

you see what this is? this place isn't to fight or to be friends it isn't even to criticize but to love the review you make to make a ridicule out of the artists or to praise them for the work none of this is to make the reviewers fools as nobody will ever know or realize what kind of fool they are since they don't have to live with this and so they wake up everyday without a memory of this at all

for AFOH | Reviewer: someone who recognizes what a metaphor is | 2/14/10

It's hilarious how obviously you're trying to sound all smart and educated. Sorry, dude, you only come off as stuck up. You claim to know how metaphors work, and yet...
This song can be seen from 3 POV's:
1- as a reference to Miguel de Cervantes's Don Quijote (a book I suspect you have never read)
2- as expresing a deeper, more philosophical message. Love, hate, reality... we have an idea of what that means, but it's different for every person. Nothing is completely good or bad. Also, that not everything can (or should) be rationalized
3- the way you obviously saw it, the literal meaning.
This is a SONG. It has metaphors, and the phrasing often has to be changed so that it sounds good. And, as somebody already pointed out, disappointment = desilución (your spanish sucks). Take my advice and think before saying or writing something. You totally made an idiot out of yourself, which doesn't really affect you much here, but you're doomed to repeat it in the real word if you don't open your mind a little. Also, open a book sometime before you die. It won't hurt you, I swear.

Don Quixote and Sancho Panza Convo... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/23/09

This song is about an imposed conversation between Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. Its called windmills because it was an epic adventure where Don saw giants in windmills and fought them. Everything is a metaphor for Quixote lived in his own fantasy where he could hear a flower and see giants in windmills! You are all wrong! Read the novel from Spain!

Good song | Reviewer: ugm | 4/17/09

I find myself to be a very polarized person. One part of me is very rational, Im an engineer. On the other I'm a poet. All that I learn in math, physics, and electronics has two meanings. Its direct technical aspect and its more ethereal meaning. My poet side just loves this song.

BTW:In spanish, "desilusión" is disappointment.

To all of you metaphorists and sentimentalists... | Reviewer: AFOH | 3/12/09

Some time ago, I wrote a simple review, noting how stupid the lyrics to this song are. I'm aware of how metaphors work -I even wrote an essay on the way abstractions have to be made in order to re-process information as a metaphor or as a parabole-, but I am not taking the lyrics to this song serious ...-bottom line, here-..., due to them being not only sentimentalist, but overtly so. Rather impositive, in a sense.

"Si puedes definir el odio o el amor, amigo que desilusión."

I'd, on the other hand, be disappointed at those who are not able to properly define love or hate. Disappointed, not disillusioned.

Some of you told me to open my mind, but I'm frankly ideologically open, if that's what you mean. Someone called me squared. Bullshit, again.

I'm simply a rationalist, and will recognize poetry when it is such, and not a poor intent to impose an all-poetical meaning to basically EVERYTHING, and EVERYWHO.

On a side note, I don't lack any feelings, to whoever implied I do. That'd be fairly impossible.

Keep along my lines, boys. :)

"How can a flower laugh without vocal chords?"

well I guess you are the stupid one, songs come from poetry, and if you didn't know there are such things as metaphors, and similes and so on

poetry is not what is said but how it's projected

and also the song is a tribute to Cervante's Don Quijote de la Mancha, and he was plain crazy, the book was written criticizing knight novels, he would see giants in windmills and ride to fight against them, which is one of the most famous episode of his adventures

the song is awesome, and it's just like don quijote

Sorry man, but you really have a problem, maybe you need therapy or maybe you need to leave therapy!!
If you cannot figure it out on your own, at least stop thinking about the importance of a song talking about sancho and molinos on the real world... I mean, if you are that simple and that cold then do not complicate your life thinking about this! In your words... it would be only a book written long long time ago, is not that hard is it? just stop fucking your brains!
