It pretty much talks about the influence of creed: hate blame for fates's seed and how it controls the population: lives rearranged..
then it invites us to look at each other and love the ones you need and need the ones you love...

in my eyes this describes narcissism. narcissists often act in this described way to make somebody addicted on them by giving him closeness. afterwards they kinda revenche on their mother (mutually mentally molested children of a mother) by repeating and projecting restriction like she did to them in their childhood (go away!). this is highlighted by the stylistic device in music that you called "rage part" at the beginning. it simulates the surprising end that the occupied partner has to bear. using the word "motherfucker" anyway confirms my thesis. "Well you need the one you love, love the ones that you need" goes along with this and means a little bit strange recommendation by soad how to feel or recognize normal, non-pathologic love to an object. correct me if i guess wrong!

This song starts with a nice and calm jazzy tune (personally I like it better before the "rage part" starts) and then goes into psycho mode which is what songs are supposed to do, they bring you to the highest point and the pull you right back down, like a rollercoaster. This song does a great job of that Great Song :)

This song seems to point to the need for sexual contact and love while also deaming it dangerous...a real social double standard...just my take...and I've said this a zillion times...but Serj's vocals are amazing...great manipulation of the words! SOAD ROCKS!!
