Marley Medley: Guava Jelly/This Train

(laughter)
Yeah...

Baby I really want to know
I think you should stop your cryin'
Use my 'kerchief to dry your eyes
You know I love you

Ruby, here I am
Come rub it 'pon my belly
Like some Guava Jelly
Damsel, here I am
Come rub it 'pon my belly
Like some Guava Jelly

This train, is bound for Glory

Hear me talkin' about
This train, is bound For Glory
This train
This train, is bound for Glory
This train will carry no unholy

Stone that the builder refused
Shall always be the head cornerstone
Stone that the builder refused
Shall always be the head cornerstone

You're a builder baby
Here I am a stone
Don't mean to confuse it girl
'Cause the things you should use
Are the things we should choose
And you hear me
Hear what I say

This train, bound for Glory
This train
This train, is bound for Glory
This train
This train, is bound for Glory
This train, carry no unholy

'Cause I
I just can't be sad...

Bre and I both loved Sublime, especially this song. She passed away in early 2014 of a heroin overdose. She was the love of my life. She will always be with me through this music.

No one's reviewed this song in three years and it's interesting to see reviews going back 8 years on this page while listening to this song.

This song is sad but great, the beginning is especially beautiful.

The stone that the builders refuse :
The mason call themself the builders (of our world) by the way they also call themself The Lions (Iron Lion Zion..)
The stone are us. Like Pink floy THE WALL.
The corner stone : http://reames.royalarchmason.org/the_many_stones_of_york_rite

Iron Lion Zion : Iron age symbolism of materialism (read "Crisis of the moder world")
Lion : The mason
Zion : In MAtrix for ex ( the last city of men or the first if you concider cycle of civilisations)

I think Bob was mason and that is why he was able/allowed to be that famous. He was a great person i am convinced and a wonderfull singer but i am prety sure that he didn't wrote those highly symbolic songs by himslef only.

He took an Oath and maybe he died (cancer virus : u can check those thing exist) when he understand their plan and decided to set him free and reveal the truth that he knew. (2PAC, MICKAEL, LENON, ENDRIX, JFK...)

That is why i still LOVE him.

Peace to his soul.

dont forget bob | Reviewer: Sam | 3/18/09

i am a great fan of sublime and mean no disrespect but it seems like some of you think bradley wrote this, but he didnt. Its the first three parts of a seven part bob marley song. the bob marley song is Medley: Guava Jelly; This Train; Cornerstone; Comma Comma;Dewdrops; Stir It Up; I'm Hurting Inside

I want to, but I can't say this is the best; I love them all...but when I'm down my boyfriend sings me this song, sometimes changing the words. last night I had a really bad breakdown & he tried to cheer me up by singing,
"Baby I really want to know
I think you should stop your cryin'
Use my T-shirt to dry your eyes
You know I love you
Van-essa, here I am, always & forever I'll be your man..."

sublime is the best remedy for hard times =D
RIP

Amazing | Reviewer: Jared | 6/7/07

This song is an amazing piece of music done by an amazing singer/songwriter. It pains me to know that his hands will never write another beautiful song like this one. All that we can do now is turn up the stereo and listen to the great works of Bradley Nowell. Rest In Peace Bradley, Rest In Peace.

in memory of jessica | Reviewer: nicole | 5/19/05

this is the most beautiful song ever. my best friend and i were in a car accident on april 22, 2005 and she passed away. This song reminds me of her because this was one of our favorite songs and we were listening to this song the moment of the crash. Now i feel like i have a special connection to the song and when times are hard for me, i turn this song on and I feel at peace with the world.
