I totally agree with the anonymus commenter who wrote about what true satanism is. I got to know this sort of " religion " if we want to call it that way from my sister and I like it a lot. There are no Gods or anything, but the true care for your own personality, your actions to people and it leads you to a process of maturing and making your own life better to survive in this world of ours. Sis also mentioned cruel stuff about tormenting someone's life and white magic with harmony of nature and so which is cool, but not really the point.. Anyways, I am in love with metal, it made my life better and gave it a meaning and I freaking love Children of Bodom too. You people are fighing about stupid stuff. All this satinism bull shit. If most (keyword most) of you would do some research to learn about "satanism" and its orgins, its not what you alll this. The man that wrote the satanic bible is a man named Anton Levay (sp?) In interviews with Anton and other satanic churches, it is actually almost the same thing as moden day christianity. They do NOT believe nor worship the devil. (Nor jesus christ for that matter.) Its more about worrying about taking care of yours and your own and not so much other as other religions do when you put it out blunt.
But really google the author of the first satanic bible. Anton is your man. You will be amazed at how falsey people are construed. And music had nothing to do with religion.

children of bodom aint satanic... i think they never wrote anything disturbing about religion. No metal band is satanic(maybe there are one or two). if someone says God doesnt exist it means he doesnt believe in him (SO HE DOESNT BELIEVE IN SATAN EITHER). Many bands have written songs about christianity(such as slayer) but their bassist(who is christian) said it was only because of his hate that the lyrics were what they were.

well, a lot of these songs are about there hometown, which is called bodom, hence the name, and bodom is full of unsolved murders, so anythings possible, awesome song, and awesome band, the drummer is amazing ;P
