It heard it for the first time the same day me and my boy friend broke up, and you guessed it, it was after 7 months. This sound hit square on with what I was feeling. I know he is not the guy for me, but that doesn't make the pain any less. And this song really helped me move on. My high school years were horrible at the time...oh, but how GLAD I AM they were horrible now that I am twice that age (+ 2). So many things that COULD HAVE happened if things had been different...some of the things that happened to people who lived the life I thought would be so cool to live at the time...I didn't have to suffer. There was so much more up ahead of me and now I wish I could go back and tell the younger me that there's no need (1 to lose sleep over anything, (2 to be sad, (3 to feel left out or looked over, (4 to cry all night, (5 to feel unattractive, or (6 worry about what you'll become...because it all works out for you somewhere around 25...and you're still making strides. I remember high school and afterward being so hard and I was lost but I did find my way and life is better.
