After all these years, I still think this is one of Paul's best songs. And it blows me away that way back then he sang about his doubts as a song writer, at the beginning of a long, prosperous, and prolific career as one of America's best song writers.

When y'all got yer own country music and folk music like Pankaj Udas ghazals...Bollywood Blockbuster musical music...this is a serious question and real objection. Why, really? Love to you, anyway. I started to listen to serious when I was say, 13 or 14. I am fortunate to be blessed listening to Simon & garfunkle since then. They are a Breed apart. Their music is pure poetry with deep meaning. I only wish they had come to India.
By the way, my favourite bands: Eagles, Simon & Garfunkle, BEE GEES, LED ZEPPLIN, Fleetwood Mac, Chicago, Some songs of Uriah Heep, REO Speed Wagon,Smokie. A lot of songs of Deep Purple, ACDC, Iron Maiden,Aerosmith Etc. My favourite of all the bands mentioned will still be THE EAGLES.
