Jesus Lyrics - Queen

Review The Song (6)

Words and music by Freddie Mercury

And then I saw Him in the crowd
A lot of people had gathered round Him
The beggars shouted the lepers called Him
The old man said nothing
He just stared about him
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down

Then came a man before His feet he fell
Unclean said the leper and rang his bell
Felt the palm of a hand touch his head
Go now go now you're a new man instead
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down

It all began with the three wise men
Followed a star took them to Bethlehem
And made it heard throughout the land
Born was a leader of man
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down

It all began with the three wise men
Followed a star took them to Bethlehem
And made it heard throughout the land
Born was a leader of man
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down to see the Lord Jesus
All going down

God is Freddie's last judge not man. | Reviewer: Annette | 7/28/14

I love the band Queen. There was something about Freddie that I saw in him. He had a heart after God even though he knew he was in sin. But if you ever look at his videos, there is never a moment that Freddie wouldn't put his arms up to heaven and face up as though he was honoring God. I believe he recieved Jesus into his heart and I believe that when he departed this earth, Jesus recieved him into loving arms. We all fall short of God's glory, but we have a chance to whole heartedly repent and ask God to forgive us. Who are we to judge? The bible says, Jesus held a stone in His hand and said, "If any of you are without sin, then cast the first stone". They all dropped the stones and walked away.

"Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion
Through the eons, and on and on"

"If there's a god or any kind of justice under the sky
If there's a point if there's a reason to live or die

If there's an answer to the questions we feel bound to ask

Show yourself - destroy our fears - release your mask"

he just wanted to sing a song about jesus. you don't have to be a christian just because you sing about god or jesus. why should jesus forgive him, did freddie mercury do something or what? he lived his life as he wanted to live it, no need for apologies there.

Song's gr8 | Reviewer: jck | 12/11/08

Freddie was studying in Christian school. This song's from first Queen's album. I think That Freddie was Christian all the time, but he surely had his own vision of life of a good christian (drugs:| ).

agreement | Reviewer: Jesse Rader | 4/19/06

I agree with Eddie. I do believe that Freddie repented and accepted Jesus as his lord and savior. I believe he may have become a Christian near his death. Unfortunateley, I have not actually heard the song before, but I have been searching for it for some time now. If you are able to share the song with me, please email me at raderindo@aol.com. Thank you.

the miracle still happennig | Reviewer: eddy tristianto | 4/9/06

i believe that freddie knew about all miracles that Jesus had done when He was on earth. this song is an acknowledgment about the miracles. but above all there is one thing stand higher than miracles... it is Jesus' Love. He loves me as my tears ran down when i read this lyrics. he heals me, he forgive my sins and he died for me for i shall live eternal live. know i know
He also forgive freddie mercury and embraced him in his loving arms.
