this song is a classic anyone can relate to. its got great meaning, style, rhythm, and lyrics. one of the best songs i have ever heard! carole king is a great songwriter/singer.. big fan!!! way to go carole with this song

This song will apply to somebody, in a relationship, every day, forever more. It sadly applies at the end of every relationship I've ever been in, including the current one of five years. This is the essense of simple, well-said songwriting that will sum it up for somebody no matter the decade. Love Carol King!!

After so many years this song has an intense meaning to me. Just coming out of a 10 year relationship it captures exactly how we felt. It was just too late one day!
