    I heard this song for the first time on "Sounds of The Sixties" (BBC Radio 2, Saturdays, 8.00am - 12.00pm, GMT) just recently. I think the DJ (Brian Matthews) said it was recorded in 1961, though not released until 1965 (in the UK, at least) on a Nashville-sounds album. It certainly sounds like Elvis, beginnings of the 1960s vintage, reminding me strongly of his "Anything That's Part Of You", the flip side in the UK of his 1962 chart-topper, "Good Luck Charm".
    "I Met Her Today" is a lovely romantic song, with the same sympathetic piano that is heard on "Anything That's Part Of You". What a great discovery for me, so many years on from the time it was recorded !
