Her Majesty Lyrics - The Beatles

Review The Song (8)

Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl,
but she doesn't have a lot to say
Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl
but she changes from day to day

I want to tell her that I love her a lot
But I gotta get a belly full of wine
Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl
Someday I'm going to make her mine, oh yeah,
Someday I'm going to make her mine.

love the song...I love the album...just great...Oh!Darlin...Here Comes The Sun...She's So Heavy..and then...it gets even better...Paul wanted it after Mean Mister Mustard...John wanted Polythene Pam to follow so they spliced it at the end of the tape and that is where it remained...I like it...

Hey, who says that was a mistake? That's a lie, McCartney didn't like the song where he himself put it: in the middle of other two songs, so the producer decided to put it at the end. You better don't be serious Brian.

the best song on abby road | Reviewer: michael curtiss | 6/9/13

without that song abbey road would not be abbey road as we know it.. go complain about something else.. me and my girl put it on repeat and make love all night long and really enjoy it alot

No end | Reviewer: Kaushik Banerjee | 1/25/13

The perhaps accidental inclusion of "Her Majesty", even after "The End" adds a mysticism to the entire affair called "The Beatles".At the same time, it also conveys the fact that The Beatles were real people, it kinda tells us that The Beatles continues. It transpires a feeling that even after ceremoniously singing "The End", they continue their music. As if the show is over, the stage is empty, but we can sneakily hear them practising in the back stage. The "mistake" adds this bit of reality.

I always thought | Reviewer: Hunter | 9/20/12

Or at least like to feel after knowing the story behind this record. Is that the second side is all a trip and at the very end after coming down says to himself someday I'll understand all this wonderment and I won't have to worry about Tring to understand it all and be able to just love.

A Mistake | Reviewer: Nathan | 1/13/12

Brian, you do know that this song was put on the album mistakenly? "The End" was supposed to be just that, but it wasn't. The acoustic demo of "Her Majesty" that found it's way onto the end of the album was accidentally spliced onto the end of the tape. It was never meant for anything - it was an outtake. The reel wasn't even cut properly - that's why there's that crashing chord at the beginning. "Her Majesty" was an accident, but has become a classic part of this amazing album.

Terrible | Reviewer: Brian | 10/26/11

This song ruins the end of Abbey Road, "The End" Is the amazing last hoorah for The Beatles, everyone had a solo in the song, even Ringo, and those last word sang were beautiful and then her majesty comes on and it makes me think "what the hell was that?"
