When this song first came out, I imediatly thought of her. I don't think any other song could fit a young girl dying the way she did. At the time, everyone thought she was just really ill and no one knew what she died from until the test results came back long after. The results came back stating that she was a diabetic. Certain parts of the lyric "Hello, I'm your mind giving you someone to talk to" and "Don't try to fix me, I'm not broken" seems to me to be from the point of view of someone, who is mentally ill. Other part of the lyric, namely "Has no one told you she's not breathing?" puts it from a 3rd person viewpoint. My interpretation of this lyric is, that its certainly is about something terrible. Its about not realising some truth. But somehow i see the story beeing both within and outside the person, who the song is about. Yeah theres another song for her called "Like You" it says : "I Long To Be Like You Lie Cold In the ground like you" it wasn't clear untill she said "I Long To Be Like you, SIS, Lie Cold in the ground like you did" now it's pretty obvious .. When I listen to this song it reminds me of my life, and all the people who love me but I tend to let go off cause my mind is set on him. (him as in my ex bla bla bla. lol) I think this because most the people i love hate him so they tend to slowly fade away without mention.
