Bryan Adams Heaven Lyrics

Last updated: 07/31/2011 11:00:00 AM

Oh - thinking about all our younger years
There was only you and me
We were young and wild and free

Now nothing can take you away from me
We've been down that road before
But that's over now
You keep me coming back for more

Baby you're all that I want
When you're lying here in my arms
I'm finding it hard to believe
We're in heaven
And love is all that I need
And I found it there in your heart
It isn't too hard to see
We're in heaven

Oh - once in your life you find someone
Who will turn your world around
Bring you up when you're feeling down

Yeah nothing could change what you mean to me
Oh there's lots that I could say
But just hold me now
Cause our love will light the way

I've been waiting for so long
For something to arrive
For love to come along

Now our dreams are coming true
Through the good times and the bad
I'll be standing there by you

*chorus*oh no..oh no..we're in heaven..

So many memories | Reviewer: a1der | 7/29/11

this was the song I was dancing to when i told the first girl that i loved her. Things did not work out back in 1986 but I have always loved that girl and wish things could have been so much different. I so want to hold her in my arms and say those words again. She is still the one girl i compare everyone else to and no one has ever been better. So this song has a lot of meaning to me.
