Good Day Sunshine Lyrics - The Beatles

Review The Song (2)

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

I need to laugh and when the sun is out
I've got something I can laugh about
I feel good in a special way
I'm in love and it's a sunny day

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

We take a walk, the sun is shining down
Burns my feet as they touch the ground

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

Then we'd lie beneath the shady tree
I love her and she's loving me
She feels good, she knows she's looking fine
I'm so proud to know that she is mine.

Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine

I love how people try to say that—and this is a direct quote—"everything the Beatles ever wrote was about or on drugs".
Let's see... guy's going out with his girl... happy about life.

Yeah. Sounds pretty drug induced to me!

In all honesty, though, I love this song. So true...

Nobodey has commented so I thought I would take a wack at it. First of all I adore the Beatles, They are and will forever be the greatest music group of all time. This song is amazing(like all their songs), it gives you a happy feeling and makes you want to enjoy the beauty of life with someone you love. This song has brightened many of my days so thank you john, paul, george and ringo for passing on your brilliant music to the world:) IM ANNETTE AND I LOVE THE BEATLES! YOU WISH YOU LOVED THEM AS MUCH AS I LOVE THEM(except kim, love ya girl)
