Blacking Out The Friction Lyrics
Artist(Band):Death Cab For Cutie
I don't mind the weather, I've got scarves and caps and sweaters,
I've got long johns under slacks for blustery days.
I think that's its brainless to assume that making changes
to your window's view will give a new perspective.
The hardest part is yet to come.
I don't mind restrictions or if you're blacking out the friction.
It's just an escape it's overrated anyways.
The hardest part is yet to come,
when you will cross the country a-lone.

Review about Blacking Out The Friction
not much of a review but | Reviewer: Tom McCaul | 1/11/2008
I agree with the person above me. This is my favorite 'over-all' song by dcfc. And yes, do listen to the live version. Listen to all the live versions. Especially 'we looked like giants'.
Is that a pretty good pop song or what ???? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/2/2007
You can feel that this song is mainly based on the Rhodes Riff of the begining and the drum part that starts with an unpredictable fill that introduce this power beat.I'd recommend listening to the live version.
